As we study the festivals God commanded the Israelites to celebrate, we see their purpose, order, and connection to Christ. What stands out to you most as you read this passage?
When planning our daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly calendars, what important events should we prioritize first? Is daily time with God first on our calendar? What about weekly corporate worship or monthly and annual worship events?
Our calendars should not revolve around work, vacations, or hobbies more than our times of worship, both personal and corporate. As you reflect on your personal calendar and priorities, what do you sense God is asking you to change or adjust?
We are always called to live in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. If we knew Jesus was coming within the next few months, how would that change the way we live each day?
All authority and power belong to God. He has entrusted us with earthly authority and responsibilities in our homes, workplaces, churches, communities, and other areas of life. How are we handling those responsibilities? Are we following God’s instruction, or are we trying to do things our own way and in our own power?
God’s instruction to us through His Word does not enslave us; rather, it sets us free. Living outside His boundaries brings chaos and crisis. How have you seen obedience to God’s instructions bring greater freedom into your life?
