GALATIANS

This message series covers the book of Galatians. This letter was written by Paul in AD 48, likely making it his earliest letter to the churches. Paul planted the churches of Galatia during his first missionary journey, and he wrote to confront a serious problem: false teachers had come in after he left and were convincing Gentile believers that faith in Christ wasn't enough — they also needed to be circumcised and keep the law of Moses to be made right with God. Paul writes with urgency to defend the true gospel of grace and to remind the Galatians that justification comes by faith in Jesus alone. The book contains a striking blend of personal testimony, Old Testament argument, and direct pastoral rebuke.
