In this message, Preston teaches from Isaiah 33-35. These chapters paint a picture of a Messiah who will judge the nations with vengeance. Leadership across the nations is corrupt at every level, and God has a plan to clean house and establish new leadership. This new leader will be a righteous king who causes gardens to grow in the desert and wipes away the tears of His followers. This king is Jesus.
In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Isaiah 30-32. Assyria is coming to destroy Judah, and the religious leaders encourage King Hezekiah to ask Egypt for help. These chapters include God’s response to this foolish plan, and how the Lord will purify His people from their unfaithfulness. The prophet also addresses the influence of wicked leaders on God’s people and promises a Messiah that will lead the people with righteousness.
In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Isaiah 28-29. In these chapters, the prophet shifts focus from the coming judgement on earth to the condition of God’s people. These chapters were most likely written after the fall of Samaria in 722 BC, and Isaiah used their pride and drunkenness as an illustration for Jerusalem. God’s people are looking for security in forming an alliance with Egypt rather than trusting in God, and the land was void of strong spiritual leadership. These issues produced a laziness in God’s people, and Isaiah was making it clear — the Lord has had enough.
In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Isaiah 24-27. These chapters cover God’s judgment during the great tribulation, the return of Jesus, and His reign during the new heaven and new earth. Isaiah paints a picture of great suffering, but also great rejoicing. As followers of Jesus, we should prepare our hearts, our families, and non-believers for these coming events.
In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Isaiah 21-23. These chapters cover the final oracles against the nations. Israel, Syria, and Assyria was threatening Judah with war. God’s people had to make a choice: trust God or form an alliance with a stronger nation. This temptation to trust the world’s strength instead of God has always been the central issue for God’s people. Isaiah’s message was as important 2700 years ago as it is today; trust God!
In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Isaiah 15-20. These chapters capture the oracles against Assyria, Philisita, Moab, Damascus, Cush, and Egypt. The nation of Judah was threatened by multiple enemies, and the prophet used these oracles to remind God’s people — trust God! The message is clear, don’t trust man’s ways to accomplish God’s plans.

That we are called by God to live a life of holiness and to have a hope that goes beyond what we can touch and feel. That a living hope is grounded in the truth of the Gospel and God alone.

What are you keeping alive that needs to be killed?
What’s the thing you refuse to forfeit?
Have you counted the cost and have you found yourself following a false gospel?
