What we learn in this chapter is that there is an expectation that members of God’s kingdom must wear certain garments, that we should offer our lives up as sacrifices, and that we shouldn’t be like the Sadducees by denying the power of God. Jesus ends his discussion with the religious leaders by asking them a question that still applies to us today, ”What do you think about the Christ?”
In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Matthew 21. This chapter includes the triumphal entry and Jesus’ judgment on the wicked leadership in Israel. We learn Jesus was the cornerstone that the builders rejected, and we either fall on that stone to be broken, or that stone will crush us; either way, everyone will encounter the rock of ages.
