Matthew - Week 3

Matthew - Week 3

In this message, Pastor Lyell Walker teaches from Matthew chapter 6. In this chapter, Jesus covers how we should share our righteousness before me, how we are to pray, fast, and where we store our treasures. Jesus’ request is that we first seek his kingdom and his righteousness and that we should love how he loves, pray like he prays, and forgive like he forgives.

Advent 2020 - Week 2

Pastor Marshall Ochs | December 13, 2020

In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Matthew 1:18-2:12. These verses tell the story of Jesus’ birth and describe the wise men who visited. In this story, we see two kings, but the wise men brought gifts for only one. Matthew contrasts King Herod and King Jesus in a way that reminds us there can only be one true king; all others are imposters and must step down.

Advent 2020 - Week 1

Pastor Marshall Ochs | December 6, 2020

In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Matthew 1:1-17. In these verses, Matthew records the genealogy of Jesus. The names connect Jesus to the royal bloodline of Israel and demonstrate God’s faithfulness to His people. However, the names also remind us that God’s family tree is still growing and His desire is to work His purposes through us. This is the first message of our 2020 Advent series and it is an invitation to rejoice in the first arrival of Jesus, but also prepare for the second.
