In this message, Pastor Marshall reads through John 6 where Jesus feeds the five thousand, walks on water, and teaches about the bread of life. In this chapter, Jesus tests the faith of His disciples and clearly explains how we should view our relationship with Him; He is our spiritual nourishment and the only way to God. This message was as divisive in the first century as it is today.
In this message, Pastor Marshall reads through John 5 where Jesus healed the man at the Pool of Bethesda and upset the religious leaders. Jesus told the man that if he chose to live a life of sin after he was healed there would be eternal consequences. Christians must preach this same message today.
In this message, Pastor Marshall reads through John 4 where the Samaritan woman and Jesus have a conversation at a well. This conversation reveals important things about the way we should evangelize and the power of a person’s testimony.
In this message, Pastor Marshall reads through John 3. He contrasts the attitudes of Nicodemus and John the Baptist, shows the beauty of God sending one savior to redeem the world, and explains how we must decrease so Jesus can increase.
In this message, Pastor Marshall reads through John 2. He explains the significance of Jesus turning water to wine and shows how the cleansing of the temple is a lesson to us about worship and sacrifice.
In John 1, the apostle outlines Jesus’ credentials, the ministry of John the Baptist, and the calling of the first disciples. In this message, Pastor Marshall explains the importance of the beginning prolog from chapter one, John’s role as a witness, and the connection between our testimony and discipleship.
In Titus 2, Paul explains our ultimate hope as Christians is the return of Jesus. Our ultimate hope works backward to stir our expectancy, desire, and confidence that Jesus is working in our daily life as well. In this message, Pastor Marshall explains how hope produces faith and faith moves mountains.
In Matthew 2, wise men from the east followed a star to Israel. This sign from God overwhelmed these men with joy, and they worshiped Jesus with honor and gifts. As you read this story, pray that the Holy Spirit fills you with joy about the work of Jesus, and let your joy turn to worship as well.
