Hey everybody!
Chris and Lacey here. We have an awesome update on what God has been doing in our life. Since we got back from China last August, we’ve been praying, seeking, and searching for where God was going to lead us next in our missionary journey, and we are excited to share that with our Red Hills family. We will be partnering with an organization called To Every Tribe (www.toeverytribe.org). For our first two years with them, we will be splitting time living in South Texas and Northern Mexico, where we will learn from and partner with veteran missionaries, undergo in-depth biblical training and help plant churches in some of the unreached portions of Northern Mexico.
The original plan for us was to dive right into support raising, with the goal of arriving in the field in late August. With the current difficulties we are all facing due to COVID-19, that timeline is now pushed back to February, although if the Lord wills and provides, we’ll still head out in August, or whenever we hit our support raising goal between this August and next February. It would mean everything to us to have our Red Hills Family supporting us, in these ways:
1. Prayer Support. We encourage you guys to read over To Every Tribe’s website (toeverytribe.org) to get familiar with who they are, what they are about, and a little bit about what we’ll be doing with them as we seek to see our king Jesus worshipped among all the nations. We experienced firsthand what having a strong prayer support system was like while we were in China, and we definitely can’t say enough about how important that is.
2. Financial support. We are so blessed to have the support of Red Hills as a whole, but we need a team of monthly supporters for this to work. We have a direct giving link for our ministry on the to every tribe website, and we would love to meet face to face with you guys and explain in-depth what that would look like, and of course more about our and to every tribe’s story. Unfortunately, our current situation makes that difficult, but we would love to set up video calls, phone calls, or direct messages until we can get back to all being in the same room together.
